10 May 2014, 9.00am to 6.00pm - Wisma IndahAssakinah Academy has been appointed as a certified service provider of Cinta Abadi MPC which is an initiative by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF), developed to guide married-to-be couples who are 21 years old and above and marrying for the first time in their preparation for marriage life.
Supported by Registry of Muslim Marriages (ROMM), Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) and Peoples Association (PA), the 14-hour interactive course helps married-to-be couples to better understand each other in critical areas such as communication, financial planning, conflict resolution and ways to attain a harmonious and collaborative marriage that last for a lifetime. The importance of continual learning and strengthening the social support network will also be emphasised during the course.
During the course, the married-to-be couples will be guided through individual assessments, self-reflection as well as group discussions on potential issues that may surface in a marriage.
