Solat is one of the pillars of Islam. It is the act of bowing down to Allah in prayers. It helps us achieve inner peace. Our beloved Prophet (pbuh) was reported to have said that the first righteous deed that will be examined on the Day of Judgment is the solat. And whoever fails in this will fail in other things.
Jabir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, When you have finished your Fard prayer in the mosque, you should observe some of your Sunnah and Nawafil prayers at home; Allah will bless your homes because of your prayers (in your homes). - Muslim
Besides the Fard prayers that we perform on a daily basis, there are also Sunnah prayers which can be practised. Let us observe together the Sunnah prayers that has been mentioned by the companions.
The Sunnah prayers that will be taught throughout the 4-weeks course are:
Dhuha
Hajat
Istikharah
Tasbih
Tahajjud
Tauba
Witir
